Apertura e introduzione sulle progettualità della Città di Torino

Con il crescere delle iniziative di progetto IOT e IOD della Città di Torino e l’aumento di persone, applicazioni e oggetti connessi alla rete, deve crescere la sensibilità verso le problematiche di Cyber Security.
Nel contesto della trasformazione digitale e dell’utilizzo della tecnologia connessa per creare efficienza, partecipazione e nuove opportunità di gestione innovativa della città, Cisco racconta come supporta il Comune di Torino nel definire le linee guida di sviluppo di soluzioni ed architetture per rendere sicuri i sistemi IOT della Città e ridurre i rischi legati al Cyber Crime.
Un focus specifico sarà riservato sullo sviluppo applicativo, a garanzia di un approccio sicuro end-to-end.

TIM OPEN API Store: costruito sia per sfruttare le risorse distintive di TIM maturate come principale azienda TelCo in Italia sia per permettere agli sviluppatori di poter vendere le proprie API sul TIM Digital Store, il marketplace online di TIM, sia tramite la Rete di Vendita di TIM, diffusa su tutto il territorio italiano.

Paola is Deputy Mayor of Innovation, Smart City and ICT Systems of the City of Torino.

She is the woman behind the strategy of innovation and digitization of the city of Torino. She has brought a new vision for the city that is now turning into a laboratory for testing frontier innovations open to the world, but especially brought an administration vision that is always looking to citizen participation. She helped to develop and launch the city participative platform named DecidiTorino, where citizens can vote and suggest ideas, at the same time she's working to reinforce the transparence and participation of the city developing a new strategy of digitalization of the Municipality simplifying the communication between citizens and the city through the platform TorinoFacile https://servizi.torinofacile.it/info/ .
A cutting-edge city vision who have seen the experimentation of the autonomous car in 2018 thanks to the implementation of a 5G infrastructure for the city and the opening of the Torino City Lab, an initiative-platform aimed at creating simplified conditions for companies interested in conducting testing in real conditions of innovative solutions for urban living.

Torino has also reached a new record in 2018 with the Drones show presented during the San Giovanni’s fest that has seen 200 drones fly on Piazza Castello and conquer the nominee as a first time seen event in Europe, after that the city opened a dedicated space to the drones testing named DORALab. DORALab aims to promote and support the development of testing activities on technologies used for the flight of drones, helping to promote, in this way, research in the field of remote piloted aircraft and the development of a sector, such as aerospace, strategic for the economic system of the territory of Turin.
She holds a PhD in Business Administration and she is Professor of Innovation Management at the University of Torino. She founded and direct the ICxT's innovation laboratory at the University of Turin and participate to the startup of ESCP Europe Business School In Torino.
She has been visiting lecturer at GCU (Glasgow Caledonian University) London and at the University of Westminster, she published more than 80 papers on innovation and innovative business models. She is mother of three incredible children and loves everything linked to sports and outdoors activity to enjoy with her family.
